Women Employability Enhancement Programme (18+ Girls)

A focused programme by Iways India to build soft skills, digital skills and career readiness for young women aged 18 years and above.

Designed to help girls move from education to employment or self-employment with confidence and practical skills.

Programme Objective
To enhance employability of 18+ women by providing job-oriented skills, workplace behaviour training and guidance on career pathways.

About the Programme

The Women Employability Enhancement Programme combines communication, digital skills, basic domain exposure and life skills to prepare participants for jobs, internships and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The curriculum is aligned with national skill development priorities and emerging job roles suitable for young women in urban and semi-urban areas.

Eligibility: Women / girls 18 years and above.
Minimum education: 10th / 12th pass (or as specified per batch).
Mode: Classroom + practical lab + project work (with online support where needed).
Outcome: Improved confidence, job readiness and basic portfolio / CV.

Programme Syllabus (Indicative)

Syllabus can be adapted to local needs and partner requirements, but generally covers the following modules.

Module 1: Self-awareness & Goal Setting – strengths mapping, career goals, personal values.
Module 2: Communication Skills – spoken English basics, workplace communication, email and phone etiquette.
Module 3: Digital Skills – computer basics, internet & email, MS Office, job applications and digital safety.
Module 4: Employability & Workplace Readiness – resume writing, interview preparation, group discussions, workplace behaviour.
Module 5: Financial & Life Skills – basic budgeting, banking, digital payments, time management and problem solving.
Module 6: Entrepreneurship Orientation (Optional) – self-employment ideas, government schemes for women and basic business planning.
Module 7: Project / Internship Exposure – small projects, field tasks or virtual exposure as per local opportunities.
