About the SC Training Programme

The Skill Development Training Programme (SDTP) under Mahatma Phule Aarthik Vikas Mahamandal aims to provide structured skill training to unemployed youth from Scheduled Caste (SC) communities across Maharashtra.

Training is aligned with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and delivered through NSDC-empanelled Sector Skill Councils and recognised training partners to improve employability and self-employment opportunities.

Implementing Agency: Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation (MPBCDC).
Target Group: SC and Neo-Buddhist youth from economically weaker backgrounds.
Objective: Job-oriented skills, entrepreneurship and income generation.

Courses / Job Roles (Indicative)

Job roles are selected based on district demand and sector allocation under the Skill Development Training Programme guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria (General)

Exact eligibility conditions are notified by Mahatma Phule Aarthik Vikas Mahamandal and may vary slightly by scheme year and job role.

Community: Belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) / Neo-Buddhist as per govt. records.
Age Group: Typically 18–35 years (relaxation as per scheme norms, if applicable).
Domicile: Resident of Maharashtra (domicile / relevant documents required).
Income: Preference to economically weaker families as per prescribed income limits.
Education: Minimum educational qualification as per selected job role (e.g. 10th / 12th pass).
